Who is Anna Anisimova?

Anna Anisimova

Known as the Russian Paris Hilton, Anna Anisimova may not have her Western namesake’s copious amounts of wealth, but she does have an extremely well-to-do daddy who bankrolls her gallivanting. Anna also shares Paris’ joie de vivre. For example, Anna put down more than half-a-million Yankee dollars just to rent a house for the summer. Granted, it was a really nice house and it was in the Hamptons, but come on now. Aluminum tycoon and Anna’s father, Vassily Anisimov, sent his daughter to America to escape Vladimir Putin’s cold, hard Russia. After all, his first daughter -- Anna’s older sister -- was killed because the wealthy are targets in their homeland. But Anna is not required to lay low in her new American home -- quite the opposite actually. She became a social butterfly while living in New York, partying, shopping, modeling occasionally, and doing all of the things that socialites do.

Anna goes to school at New York University, but she doesn’t just sit around her $15 million Manhattan apartment studying and chatting. Anna got into the real estate game. Apart from her four other residences across the U.S., she also bought a $23 million studio which she converted into condos. Now she’s looking to move to Los Angeles where she is developing a line of perfume. Sounds like another heiress we know…Wealth at a price: Along with the prerequisites of being good-looking, well-off, and able to keep up with a young socialite on the go, the fella who hooks up with Anna Anisimova shouldn’t forget about her poor sister and how far Russian criminals will go to punish the rich. Anna is a girl who could have lead a very different life, if a life at all, so she must be treated accordingly.

There is no such thing as a simple life for an heiress. Whether she prefers to devote herself to a higher pursuit or frolic and cavort like a college kid on spring break, inevitably her actions will be noted by those with and without vested interests in her well-being. This is especially true when it comes to relationships. No self-respecting business magnate would want his little girl marrying someone he deems unworthy of benefiting from the spoils of his empire. And while an heiress may have won the lottery of life, they don’t always know how to handle their good fortune and so their trials and tribulations are often splashed front and center across tabloids and papers worldwide. It also doesn’t help that, as they say, blondes don’t always prefer gentlemen so things can really get complicated.
